Process blog for Interactive Design 1 2010 spring
So we are finally here! I feel so guilty not updating my process blog that often but this last post will show everything I did for my final website project. I wish I could upload my snapz video here but for some reason it won’t let me
Anyways, here it goes
For my landing homepage, I tried to make it dark and cleaner than the original webpage since it was very busy and unorganized. So I kept the design fairly simple so that it is much easier to navigate.
At first, I was going to have a background full of tomatoes, but as you can see it became pretty chaotic and really busy.
So I cut it down to one good image of tomato with a dark background. I tried to get away from the childish look from the initial design and make it more professional and exclusive movie review website by using having a nice dark tone.
This is a first shot of my redesign of movie review webpage “Rotten Tomatoes”. I tried to use the color scheme of tomato but it kind of ended up with a childish look (similar to my moma tween website)
This is a MoMA webpage dedicated to young children (age between 8-12).
Since this is a design for kids, I used playful colors on a simple layout so it is easier for kids to navigate the site.
